i dont know how likely it is but it would kick ass
I wonder what the possibilities are of SD re-recording a load of their songs now, acoustic? I think Mike's voice has only improved with age and, if he did an acoustic album in the future, it would be a fantastic re-rendering of their back catalogue. I suppose Mike wouldn't really need the others... but it's an idea for his next solo album, isn't it? Here's a list of all the songs I would love to hear in the near future, acoustic...
Prison Bound
Story of My Life
Ball and Chain
Bad Luck
Sometimes I Do
Dear Lover
Untitled
I Was Wrong
When the Angels Sing
Crown of Thorns
Footprints on My Ceiling
Winners and Losers
Angels Wings
If Mike did an acoustic album like that, it would beat the shit out of ANYTHING else around (at least until the new SD album next year).
So how likely do you think such a compilation is?

i recently did an interview with jonny for a local magazine, and he mentioned that they had a lot of fun doing the acoustic songs on some radio spots and that they're were considering doing an acoustic tour after the next album.
that would be bad ass i hope they do that
Hells yeah! I hope that they do consider it!

i got to see them at a radio show they did here in febuary the radio gave tickets to 16 people..everyone got to ask one question and since it was an acoustic show with just johny and mike i asked will you ever put out a acoustic album.he said they are and him and johny are gonna hit the road doing small intimate shows...he said its next on the list....
i was planning on putting the link up when its online, but that won't be until october. i could copy and paste it here if anyone wants to read it now
Yes pleeeze, if you could do that!
i think it would be really cool to see them on unplugged or storytellers. i don't know if mtv still has the taste and/or integrity to go for it, but i know a lot of people would appreciate it
